We are going to celebrate The Chinese New Year Of The Dragon with a special menu Jan 20 - 23 featuring our take on Chinese cooking. Updates will appear on the LB Facebook page.

It has been 7 years without a serious incident. Sure, we have had a couple people fall down, a tiny allergic reaction, a verbal disagreement or two, two people 86′d and a guy who once tried to fake a fall. But tonight we had our first close call for real. If it wasn’t for the quick life saving instincts of Chef Blaine, we might have lost a guest to the hazards of simply eating.
Yes, DB applied the Heimlich Maneuver to a choking guest and was rewarded with a piece of steak, breathing, a happy family, the awkward aftermath and the continuation of grandma’s life. In hindsight, heroic action like this might seem automatic and even simple, but in the moment it is a rare behavior to react quickly with the proper instincts.
Thanks David.
